The signs before the rapture – 2025 and the testimonies pointing to the imminent return of Jesus
The Bible is clear that before Jesus gathers His church, there will be signs indicating that the time is near. In 2025, we are witnessing a growing number of testimonies from both children and adults about dreams and visions that align closely with what God’s Word has foretold. Combined with strange sound phenomena around the world - sounds reminiscent of trumpet blasts - we are strongly reminded that the last trumpet will indeed sound one day."
1. Dreams and visions – just as prophesied
God promised through the prophet Joel that in the last days He would speak through dreams and visions:
"Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." (Joel 2:28)
In 2025, people all over the world—especially children—are reporting dreams of the rapture in which they see people rising up into the clouds to meet Jesus.
The testimonies of the children are often remarkably similar, despite coming from different countries and cultures, and the children having very little or no knowledge of the Bible. They often describe Jesus dressed in white, surrounded by light, and feeling a strong sense of peace and joy.
2. The trumpet sounds around the world – a prophetic reminder.
In recent years, people have reported strange, powerful sounds that resemble trumpet blasts coming from the sky. These have been recorded in countries such as Canada, the United States, Ukraine, Sweden, and many others. Although scientists offer various explanations, it is hard to ignore that the Bible speaks of the trumpet of God that will sound when Jesus comes to gather His own.
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout... and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." (1 Thess 4:16)
"At the last trumpet... the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (1 Kor 15:52)
These sound phenomena remind us that the trumpet is a symbol of God’s call—in the Old Testament, it called people to gather, to battle, or to celebrate. In the New Testament, it becomes the signal for the greatest gathering of all: the rapture.

3. The fulfillment of prophecy in real time
När vi ser dessa tecken – drömmar, visioner och trumpetljud, tillsammans med nyheter om krig, svält, fler och fler jordbävningar över hela jorden och en förföljelse av kristna som tidigare aldrig skådats – är det svårt att inte tänka på Jesu egna ord:
"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake." (Matt 24:6-9)
"So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!" (Matt 24:33)
It is as if God is already preparing His people by stirring hearts, reminding us that time is short, and urging us to live ready.
Men om den dagen och stunden har väl ingen vetskap, inte ens Sonen? Ja, det är sant. Men det finns också en intressant koppling mellan det uttalandet och den högtid då Jesus tros komma tillbaka, som snarare bekräftar denna tidpunkt, eftersom högtiden för det judiska nyåret ”Rosh Hashana” eller ”The fiest of the Trumpets” också kallas ”Dagen och stunden som ingen vet”.
Dessutom säger Ordet:
”Herren Gud gör ingenting utan att uppenbara sin hemlighet för sina tjänare profeterna.” (Amos 3:7)
Så innan Fadern gör något så stort som att sända Herren Jesus till jorden för att samla sina utvalda, så kommer hans egna att få veta om det.
Daniels bok bekräftar att några faktiskt ska förstå tecknen och hur de uppfyller Bibelns profetior, med orden:
”Ingen ogudaktig ska förstå detta, men de förståndiga ska förstå det.” (Daniel 12:10)
4. A personal call to be ready
Nu vill jag säga att tecknen inte är till för att skrämma oss, utan för att uppmuntra oss att leva i förväntan och helighet. Jesus sade:
"Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." (Matt 24:44)
Vi vet ju inte den exakta stunden, även om vi kan veta ungefär vilken tid han kommer. Så nu har vi chans att göra oss redo och de första stegen för att vara det är:
- Believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
- Confess your faith through baptism—an outward sign of your inward faith.
- Live in fellowship with God—daily prayer, Bible reading, and obedience to His Spirit.
- Share the Gospel with others while there is still time.
Lift up your eyes!
We are living in a time when biblical prophecies seem to be unfolding before our very eyes. Children and adults are seeing visions of Jesus, strange sounds like trumpets are being heard all over the world, and God’s people are being awakened to spiritual readiness. The day will come when the last trumpet sounds and we will meet the Lord in the air.
"Therefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thess 4:18)
