Is Jesus God?

We know that Jesus existed. But who was He? A good man? A prophet? God’s first creation? Or, as some say, God in human form? What does the Bible say?

Can God heal me?

There are many well-documented accounts of Jesus healing the sick and casting out demons when He walked the earth. But what is He doing today? Can God still heal?

How does one become a Christian?

Maybe you're curious about the Christian faith but don't know what the gospel is or how to become a Christian. Then you've come to the right place. Here, we clarify the key concepts.

To every Jehovah's witness

I love you, and that's why I want to share some important thoughts with you.

If you have grown up within, or come into contact with Jehovah's Witnesses, you know how compelling their message can be. They are committed, organized, and their teachings are presented in many different languages and in a way that feels both logical, of high quality, and very appealing to those searching for answers.

Maybe one of them has visited you and shown a personal interest when no one else did? Maybe they helped you see things in the Bible that you never noticed before? Perhaps you found a safe community in one of their Kingdom Halls, a place where you could work together with other believers, and suddenly life felt meaningful? Maybe virtually all your family are Witnesses?

I really understand. Anyone would find all this appealing. And there's nothing wrong with warm fellowship. But can I give you some advice, based on my own experience? Don't believe something just because it sounds good or is said by people you may love and trust. I did that until I was almost 40, only to realize that I believed a lie or better - “an almost-truth” all my life.

But only God can show us the real truth, not human arguments, however convincing they may seem. And that truth is far more amazing than you could ever imagine. But it's easy to be deceived when something that seems genuine and beautiful on the surface - because the enemy can also appear as an angel of light.

The Bible says:
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out in the world." (1 John 4:1 AMP)

So I ask of you, to let the word of God be your only standard - not people or organizations, however appealing they may be. Test for yourself whether their teachings are really consistent with the Bible, by taking the time to read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John for yourself, as well as Acts for starters. And please, put aside your preconceptions (the ones we all have), and let God himself be the one to show you what he wants to teach you with the help of his Holy Spirit. He will reveal the real truth to you. There is no more important knowledge to gain, for it has to do with your own eternal life.

The need to know Jesus

As the Bible shows, and as discussed in several of the articles on this page, Jesus is so much more than a prophet or angel (Heb. ch. 1). He is the “Lord of Lords” (1 Tim 6:15; Rev 19:15) and the one who judges the world and gives people eternal life (John 5:21,22). He is also called “Alpha and Omega”, "The Almighty" (Rev 1:8) “The First and the Last” (Rev 1:17; 22:13) “The Beginning and the End” (Rev 22:13) “Mighty God” and “Everlasting Father” (Isa 9:6).

The Bible says:
"Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son so that all will give honor to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him." so that all will give honor to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. (John 5:21-23 AMP)

Therefore, I would ask you to do three things:

  1. Study the Bible yourself, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
  2. Seek the truth with sincerity, ask God to show you who Jesus really is.
  3. Open your heart to Jesus, so that you can be born again and have eternal life.

What is the Trinity?

That's right, the word Trinity does not appear in the Bible. And Jews believe that God is one, which, on the other hand, really is stated in the Bible. So why do Christians believe in a triune God?

What really happened in 1914?

Jehovah's Witnesses have long taught that 1914 was the year that marked the end of the times of the Gentiles. But what does thorough research into the Bible and historical facts show?
