The stories in the Bible of the miracles performed by Jesus are equally moving every time you read them. The following testimony is short and simple, but that is why it is so powerful:
"When he was in one of the cities, there stood a man who was full of leprosy. Seeing Jesus, he fell to the ground before him and prayed, 'Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.' Jesus reached out his hand, touched him and said, 'I am willing. Be cleansed!' Immediately the leprosy disappeared." -Luke 5:12,13
Even in our time, there are stories about how Jesus heals. He is the same today as he was when he walked the earth and have the same desire to heal people and help them change their minds.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." -Hebrews 13:8
It is also said that Jesus' disciples would perform the same miracles that he performed and greater things, that he would send his spirit and be with his disciples all days until the end.
"Truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do works like me, and even greater works. For I go to the Father, and whatever you ask in my name I will do, so that the Father may be glorified through the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." -John 14:12-14 B2000
"They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." -Mark.16:18
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved ... These signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out evil spirits. ... They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." -Mark 16:15-18
"I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Matthew 28:20
The following stories from Sweden, Puerto Rico, the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and China are taken from personal experience, the internet, books by Anita Barker who has received the gift of healing, and the Slavic Mission's book "God works miracles" which was published in 1993 and shows that the above scriptures are true.
They are simple in nature, like the testimony of Luke about the leper, and like that testimony, they are highly credible.
